DHLM shares Honolulu’s housing efforts at Novogradac conference

Scott Glenn, senior adviser for federal affairs, climate and housing in the Office of Gov. Josh Green, also addressed attendees on behalf of the governor. Glenn, a member of the governor’s housing team, shared the State’s perspective on affordable housing development and efforts to increase housing production.

During his keynote, Director Auger reflected on DHLM’s first year as a City department and the work underway to advance affordable housing through City financing, development partnerships and the strategic use of City-owned land. He also emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between government, developers and financial partners to create more affordable housing opportunities for Honolulu residents.
